Description

Composition: Cefuroxime Axetil

Therapeutic Class: 2nd Generation Cephalosporin-type antibiotic.

Indication: Cefuroxime is second-generation cephalosporintype antibiotic indicated in the treatment of sensitive bacterial
infections caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, E. coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae
and Haemophilus influenzae and can be used for the treatment of pharyngitis, tonsillitis, maxillary sinusitis, chronic bronchitis.

Dosage Form:
– Suspension: Powder for reconstitution 100ml
Strength (Pack size):
– 125mg/5ml (100ml)

Dosage:
10 mg/kg dosage twice daily for tonsillitis and pharyngitis

* Each dose should be taken with food
For 5 – 10 days or as prescribed by a physician.
