Description

Composition: Topical Herbal Analgesic: containing Menthol, Wintergreen, Eucalyptus Oil, Camphor, Turpentine Oil, Thymol,
Clove Oil, Base

Therapeutic Class: Topical Herbal Analgesic

Indication: K-Balm is used for fast relief from aches and pains in joints, smooth and skeletal muscles

Dosage Form: Ointment

Dosage: Apply to affected area when necessary

1. Menthol: Topically applied, it acts as a counterirritant resulting in a cooling
sensation that depresses cutaneous receptors that perceive pain thereby
causing analgesic effect.
2. Wintergreen oil: Wintergreen oil containing methyl salicylate has analgesic
and anti-inflammatory properties.
3. Eucalyptus oil: Has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties and is used
for relieving back pain and other aches and pains from those recovering from
joint or muscle injury.
4. Camphor: Is easily absorbed through the skin and is used to relieve pain,
inflammation, irritation, and itching
5. Turpentine oil:Is used for joint pain, muscle pain and nerve pain
6. Thymol: Has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antispasmodic, antibacterial,
antifungal, antiseptic properties.
7. Clove oil: Is used as a reliever of muscle pain
