Pharm. Kofi Addo-Agyekum visits the ultra-modern manufacturing plant of Zeta Pharma in Cairo

Zeta Pharma is a fast-growing branded generic pharmaceutical company in the Egyptian market that was established in 2010 and started its production and marketing activities in 2015 on the hepatitis C virus products Sofocivir, Zetaciver and Sofocivir Plus. In collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP) and Egyptian Liver Research Institute and Hospital (ELRISH), Zeta Pharma has managed to treat more than 60,000 patients.

Pharm. Kofi Addo-Agyekum, Mr. Ahmed Badr El-Din( Plant Manager at Zeta Pharma) and Mr. Charles Osei Asibey were given an introductory presentation of Zeta Pharma and later conducted round the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that enabled Zeta Pharma to produce, package, and deliver quality medicines across nations and throughout Egypt.

Pharm. Kofi Addo-Agyekum right after the tour met with Mr. Mohammed Abu Bakr, CEO of Zeta Pharma to have a strategic meeting with. The fruitful meeting had both companies agree on signing of a Non-Disclosure Agreement and an Mou that will see both entities have a good business relationship in future.

Pharm. Kofi Addo-Agyekum further thanked Mr. Ahmed Tarek (Commercial Consular at Embassy of Egypt) and Mr. A.M Youssef (Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt) for facilitating his visit to Egypt.
