Composition: Metformin Hydrochloride

Therapeutic Class: Biguanide Antihyperglycemic Agent

Indication: Metclomin is indicated in the management of type II diabetes as monotherapy or in combination with other
antidiabetic medications.

Dosage Form: Tablets

Strengths (Pack size):
– 500mg (3 x 10)
– 850mg (7 x 4)
– 1000mg (7 x 4)

Dosage:
– 500mg: once daily – Children & Adolescents
bid / tid – Adults
– 850mg: bid / tid – Adults (Not recommended for use in
Children)
– 1000mg: once daily – Adults (Not recommended for use in
Children)

* Each dose should be taken with food
