KOCEF-250 TABLETS

Description

Composition: Cefuroxime Axetil

Therapeutic Class: 2nd Generation Cephalosporin-type antibiotic.

Indication: Cefuroxime is second-generation cephalosporin type antibiotic indicated in the treatment of sensitive bacterial
infections caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, E. coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae
and Haemophilus influenzae and can be used for the treatment of pharyngitis, tonsillitis, maxillary sinusitis, chronic bronchitis.

Dosage Form:
– Tablets: 250mg and 500mg

Strength (Pack size):
– 250mg tabs (1 X10)
– 500mg tabs (1 X 10)

Dosage:
– 250mg: bid for 5 – 10 days (Mild to moderate infections)
– 500mg: bid (Severe infections)
(For 5 – 14 days or as prescribed by physician)
